Future Arts Network is hosting a new mentorship program—this mentorship program will support emerging writers & artists who are women of colour (WOC) and other BIPOC of marginalized genders across Canada.
Emerging and industry professionals will get connected through a series of online mentorship sessions in 2023. The aim is to provide a free, low-barrier, and accessible way to connect with arts professionals while building a community of creatives.
Workshop topics include: How to pitch book proposals, BIPOC in the publishing industry, Grant writing/ marketing, and more. Participants will have the opportunity to also work together to publish a chapbook publication by the end of the program.

10-15 participants will be selected and notified on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023.

Participants will be compensated $500 at the end of the program!
