The Bangladesh national football team will play two practice matches against Saudi Arabia’s First Division team, Ohod Club, and the Malawi national team in Madina as part of their preparation for the Tri-Nation FIFA friendly tournament at the Sylhet District Stadium from March 22 to 28.
Spanish coach Javier Cabrera’s charges, who are now in Madina for a 10-day camp, will play Ohod on Saturday before facing the southeastern African nation of Malawi on March 15.
‘Our team will play two practice matches against the Ohod Club and Malawi national team, who are also in Madina for their camp, on March 11 and 15, respectively,’ Bangladesh national team manager Iqbal Hossain told the media from Madina on Thursday.
The 30 members of the Bangladesh preliminary squad started their camp in Madina on March 7 and are scheduled to return home on March 17 before their FIFA friendlies against Brunei and Seychelles in late March.
