Police have issued an urgent appeal after a kidnapping attempt in Hampshire.
Officers said two men in a black Volkswagen approached two boys, aged 12 and 13, and offered them money to get in the vehicle.
The boys ran to a nearby supermarket and the vehicle drove off, police said.
The incident took place at 5.44pm on Wednesday in Great Binfields Road, Lychpit, near Basingstoke.
Hampshire Police say they are carrying out extensive enquiries in the area.
They are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to get in touch.
Officers are also asking anyone with dash-cam or door-cam footage to come forward.
