Atlanta United opened the 2023 season on an electric note — and with three points, thanks to an absolute stunning last-gasp brace from World Cup champion Thiago Almada on Saturday night. With Ludacris in the building to hit the Golden Spike, in front a full-venue crowd on hand at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the hosts rallied to beat the San Jose Earthquakes 2-1 in what was an unbelievably memorable way to kick off the club’s seventh MLS season.

  1. I was at this game and shocked that Atlanta won. Game was almost over and we scored 2 points at the end. SJ players got “hurt” every 3 minutes. It was ridiculous.

  2. This game was amazing and it was an electrifying game! The last shot came down to the final seconds and being in person with that energy was everything! Perfect way to open the season at home 🎉

  3. AwakenBeerus really has the best predictions I've ever seen. As he says, that's the end of the match, it's crazy to me. Recommendations to all guys who want to bet and win money

  4. The coach expression between the equalising goal and the winning goal.. btw, that's a brilliant free kick to seal the victory right at the last kick of the game

  5. ATL – the luckiest team in the MLS. San Jose was on that a$$ a good portion of the game and could have won 4-2 or 5-2. It doesn't always work out that way.
