John Motson, the football commentator who covered 10 World Cups, 10 European Championships and 29 FA Cup finals during his 50-year career with the BBC, has died at the age of 77.

Motty, along with a few others, provided the soundtrack to the lives of football fans for half a century. He had the right words at the right time for all the big moments. We would love to hear your memories of Motson – whether you met him, worked with him or simply enjoyed his commentary.
