Mamelodi Sundowns owner Patrice Motsepe has found himself in the company of global entertainment icons. The Pretoria-born business has made the top list of Black billionaires in a Complex Magazine Black History Month feature.

According to the report by Complex, as shared by Soccer Laduma, Motsepe is one of two African that made the list, thanks to his mining enterprising African Rainbow Minerals.
The 61-year-old, who has since left his chairman duties at Sundowns to become the President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in 2021, is the third richest man in Mzansi behind Johann Rupert and Nicky Oppenheimer.
The report says that Motsepe is worth a staggering $2.9 billion (over R49.7 billion).
