The sun is shining a little brighter, food suddenly tastes better, heck even annoying work colleagues seem more tolerable. Hmmm, could it be the influence of the Festive Season? Or perhaps the nostalgia that kicks in with bidding another year farewell. Either way, life is good so, we’re taking the opportunity to share with you some of our 2022 highlights.
Spotlighting Our Faves
Earlier this year we launched two new Redmi devices that promised a whole lot of potential. And boy, did they deliver! Both the Redmi Note 11 and the Redmi Note 11 Pro wowed us with their camera capabilities, immersive display, impressive sound, and power-efficient performance. A few new IoT products also came onto the scene and were welcomed with open arms. The Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker with outstanding sound output and powerful sound in all directions, allows you to indulge yourself in music wherever you go.
The audio spoils didn’t stop there. The Redmi Buds 3 Lite made its big debut and continues to impress buyers with its ergonomic design, Bluetooth connectivity, and noise-cancellation technology. Speaking of impressive capabilities, the Xiaomi 12V Max Brushless Cordless Drill quickly earned itself the role of every handyman’s greatest companion thanks to three operating modes for beginners, professionals, and everyone in between.
Last, but certainly not least, we gave you more than one reason to invest in a Mi Robot Vacuum for Spring. These smart vacuums quickly transformed the way we approached cleaning. How? Obstacle avoidance technology, for one, various suction power settings, and a remote-control app that allows you to control your Mi Vacuum from wherever you are.
Celebrating Top Achievers
What’s a wrap-up without highlighting some of our top performers? To date, 3000 orders have been placed and fulfilled and 6000 of our products sold. While these numbers continue to climb, there are a few top achievers worth mentioning.
The first is the Redmi Note 10 Pro Onyx Grey 128GB and we sold 550 of these bad boys. Whoop! We can equate this success to the smartphone’s ultra-crisp camera technology, revolutionary display, and true-to-life performance.
Turns out in addition to accessorising yourselves with the latest smartphones, keeping things clean and tidy is equally important to our MiFans. The next top-selling product was the Mi Air Purifier HEPA Filter. Understandable since it eliminates 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. We sold 308 of these nifty filters. Yaaas!
Sales to Remember
Those of you who are familiar with MIA will know that we’re suckers for a good sale. This year, our Orange Friday sales dominated each week with amazing discounts on smartphones, devices, and accessories. Our May Madness Sale then gave shoppers 15 days to stash their carts with innovative products for home and everyday life. Then, of course, our MIA Mania Month sale kicked off in mid-November with 20% off ALL items sitewide for an entire month. Wonder what discounts and specials next year will hold?

Sure, numbers talk but what we’re truly focused on here at MIA, is what our customers think of our products. Looking Ahead
One of the many highlights for MIA this past year was expanding our product range to include exciting new brands. First, we introduced a newly developed Pre-Owned section to our online store dedicated solely to previously owned tech products at more than reasonable rates. We then ramped up our fitness product offering by adding Fitbit devices to our suite.
